Family Sovereignty

When Vivek Ramaswamy stated that family is the, "greatest form of governance known to mankind," it shook me to my core. My family is a victim of Government overreach. My three small children were taken from me by a tyrannical Government without evidence and with no cause. No charges were ever filed against me, no witness had ever come to claim wrongdoing on my part, yet those tyrants held my children from me. I am among the lucky; I was able to take my children back from the Government. My children are less lucky; they must continue to fight in order to win back the affection of their mother from the fell clutch of government overreach.

I have, throughout the years, helped many families to realize their rights given to them by God and enforced by the US Constitution. In each case I have studied, a single theme rang throughout: Some Governments believe themselves better able to rear children than those children’s parents. I reject this notion outright, and I believe Texas does as well.

Family Sovereignty has struck many wins in the State of Texas in recent years. This is the reason I chose to become a Texan. I was not born here, I was not given - by birthright - the title of Texan. I worked, studied, and scrutinized my way here. My family could not be in a better place. I could not fight to maintain liberty in a better place.

The 9th Amendment gives to the people the Right to raise children. Any Constitutional Conservative must uphold that right and keep it from the ever-present danger of Government usurpation. As a delegate, I will work to vet candidates throughout the State and ensure they protect the People’s sacred duty of raising the next generation.
