The border is our only line of defense against outside threats. This is not only physical, there too are cyber threats. Without a secure border, there is no possibility of a stable nation. Without a regulated border, there is no possibility of a stable nation. I am pro legal immigration; however, I shall not condone any unlawful breach of our border: not by an individual nor by a nation.

The regulated flow of people, goods, and services into these United States is a chief concern for the nation, because it is of extreme consequence to the nation. Under the Biden Administration, we have seen a sharp increase in the number of people and illegal drugs pouring into the country. We have also seen at least 20,000 children lost after crossing the border. By these evils, a righteous man cannot abide; yet, Biden and his fellows abide them well.

When a trespasser enters our nation, we spend valuable resources caring for it. We feed it, clothe it, give it medicine and shelter. If it breaks the law, we pay for the expensive arrest, trial, and incarceration. If it brings drugs with it, our children and fellows become addicted, overdose, and die. If its child goes missing, our law enforcement - federal, state, and local - uses precious resources searching for it. This is all at the cost of valuable social services that we need for our own and for those immigrants who cross that bridge legally and hopefully.

Our tax dollars should not be subsidizing the terrible conditions outside governments make for their people. Our tax dollars should support our citizens and our immigrants who came over the right way. This has been the status quo until the Biden Administration; it should become the status quo once again.

Luckily, by and through grace, Texas is able to carry the torch and defend her border even without the executive and military power of the federal government.
